Tahun 2009 sarjana arsitektur Institut Teknologi Bandung ini memutuskan untuk belajar seni pertunjukan vokal klasik di Utrecht Conservatory (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht), Belanda, sedari tingkat Bachelor hingga Master, ia dibimbing oleh Henny Diemer. Sebelum ke Belanda, ia sempat dibina oleh N. Simanungkalit, Pranadjaja, Anette Frambach dan Avip Priatna.

Beberapa pertunjukan yang dilakoninya:

  • Opera Cavalleria Rusticana (Pietro Mascagni) sebagai Turiddu (2005).
  • Solis tenor pada “Misa Coronation” (Mozart) di Singapura dan pada Macau International Music Festival di Macau, bersama Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa dari Jepang (2006).
  • Opera Samson et Dalila (Camille Saint-Saëns) sebagai Samson (2006).
  • Solis tenor dalam “Misa Carl Maria Von Weber” di Kanazawa Jepang, rekamannya diterbitkan oleh Warner Classic Japan (2007).
  • Opera Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria (Monteverdi) sebagai Iro dan Giove di Amsterdam (2012).
  • Drama musikal Sang Kuriang (Dian Hadipranowo, libretto Utuy Tatang Sontani) berperan sebagai Sangkuriang (2013).
  • Opera Cosi fan Tutte (Mozart) sebagai Ferrando di Den Haag (2014).
  • Opera Alceste (Christoph W. Gluck) sebagai Admeto di Utrecht (2015).
  • Opera Carmen (Georges Bizet) sebagai Don Jose (2016).
  • Solis tenor untuk Lobgesang Op. 52 karya Mendelssohn dalam konser bertajuk Hymn of Praise (2015).
  • Ia juga berkolaborasi membawakan karya musik alternative Emerson Lake & Palmer di Komunitas Salihara (2016).
  • Solis untuk lagu berdurasi panjang berjudul Les Djinns karya Louis Vierne pada konser berkala Jakarta Concert Orchestra “Sabda Semesta” (2018).
  • Konser solo 25 tahun bermusiknya, berjudul “Karena Kau Ada”, (2018).
  • Sebagai Habibie dalam Opera Ainun (Purwa Tjaraka, libretto: Titien Wattimena) (2018).
  • Semenjak 2010 hingga sekarang, ia selalu menjadi penyanyi utama dalam konser tahunan bertajuk "Simfoni Untuk Bangsa". Konser tahunan ini adalah prakarsa konduktor Avip Priatna yang dikelola The Resonanz Music Studio. Konser ini merupakan kolaborasi antara Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO), Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS), The Resonanz Children's Choir (TRCC) dengan solis-solis bintang tamu yang istimewa.

Dan masih banyak lagi pertunjukan lainnya.

Di ranah musik pop Indonesia, ia berkolaborasi dengan nama-nama besar industri musik seperti Elfa Secioria, Andi Rianto, Dian HP, Purwa Tjaraka dan banyak lagi.

Ia adalah salah satu penyanyi dalam album Magenta Orchestra “Interlude dari Hati” dan penyanyi utama dalam album “Karena Cita Kita Ada: Tribute to Erros Djarot”.

Selain bernyanyi, Farman juga mengkomposisi musik. Ia telah menciptakan banyak lagu dan beberapa aransemen paduan suara. Juni 2017 ia meluncurkan album solo bertajuk FARMAN, di dalamnya ia menyanyikan lagu-lagu ciptaannya.

Kesehariannya ia adalah pengajar senior untuk vokal di The Resonanz Music Studio.

In 2009, this graduate of architecture from the Bandung Institute of Technology decided to study classical vocal performance at the Utrecht Conservatory (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) in the Netherlands. From Bachelor to Master level, he was guided by maestra Henny Diemer. Prior to his study in the Netherlands, he was coached by N. Simanungkalit, Pranadjaja, Anette Frambach and Avip Priatna.

  • His 25 years of music solo concert, entitled "Karena Kau Ada (Because You Are There)", (2018).
  • As Habibie in Opera Ainun (Purwa Tjaraka, libretto: Titien Wattimena) (2018).
  • Since 2010 until now, he has always been the lead singer in the annual concert entitled "Simfoni Untuk Bangsa (Symphony for the Nation)". This annual concert is the initiative of conductor Avip Priatna managed by The Resonanz Music Studio. This concert is a collaboration between the Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO), Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS), The Resonanz Children's Choir (TRCC) and with special guest star soloists.

And still many other shows.

In the realm of pop music, he collaborates with honorable names in the music industry such as Elfa Secioria, Andi Rianto and many more.

He is one of the singers in the Magenta Orchestra album "Interlude dari Hati" and the lead singer in the album "Karena Cinta Kita Ada (We are here because of Love): Tribute to Erros Djarot".

Apart from singing, Farman also composes music. He has composed many songs and several choir arrangements. In June 2017, he launched a solo album titled FARMAN, in which he sang his songs.

Daily he is a senior lecturer for vocals at The Resonanz Music Studio.
